What was confirmed

On 6 October 2026, the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM, commonly known as LHDN or HASiL) informed SWORX Technologies that the 2026 Monthly Tax Deduction (MTD, or PCB) calculation developed in SWMS complies with IRBM’s required specifications. This gives clients an official confirmation of the SWMS MTD calculation for 2026.

What this means for clients

You can use SWMS for 2026 PCB calculations with the assurance that its calculation has been confirmed against IRBM’s specifications. Your payroll team can inspect MTD calculation details alongside employee and remuneration inputs, making it easier to review results and investigate unusual deductions.

Clear information for each payroll run

Accurate employee tax information and pay inputs help SWMS calculate the right deduction for each employee. Review changes and exceptions before finalising payroll. During a demo, our team can show you the calculation details and reports so your payroll team knows what to check.

Our commitment to ongoing compliance

SWORX will keep the SWMS MTD calculation aligned with applicable IRBM specifications. We will review annual budget announcements and changes to the calculation requirements, update SWMS as needed, and inform clients of relevant changes. The IRBM confirmation currently identifies the 2026 calculation; our work to maintain compliance continues as requirements evolve.
